We are urgently hiring an experienced TIG Welder to come and work on the weekend shift at this fast-paced well-known manufacturer in Spokane Valley WA. Interested? Please read on!
Compensation for the TIG Welder - Weekend Shift
- $19.75 Per Hour
- Weekend Shift: Friday -- Sunday, 6 am -- 7 pm (36 hours per week)

Responsibilities for the TIG Welder - Weekend Shift
- Use machines such as semi-automatic TIG (tungsten inert gas) welders, planishers, and shearing to cut, weld, and dress metal bands into desired output
- Represent the foundation of our commitment to reliably produce products to the highest quality and engineering standards to align with company core values
- Align seam of metal strips in machine
- Inspect raw and finished product for quality
- Use tools to ensure results are within acceptable margins
- Measure and prep material
- Track and log job operations
- Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking

Requirements of the TIG Welder - Weekend Shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Familiarity of manufacturing standards
- Familiarity with welding terms and procedures a plus
- Basic math skills
- Obtain NADCAP weld certification (internal training provided)
- Skills required: strong attention to detail, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, sit or stand for long periods of time, use fine hand motor manipulation, use hand and foot controls
Must have vision (natural or corrected) 20/30 or better and color
