Working knowledge of large animals, especially cattle production, vaccines, feed and livestock equipment as well as equine, tack and domestic animal needs
Inventory managemant and merchandising skill a plus
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with people regularly
Ability to frequently lift and carry 20-50 pounds, bend, stoop and climb ladders continuously
Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques or the ability to complete training
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE AN TACK AND ANIMAL HEALTH SALES ASSOCIATE AT NORTH 40?
As a Tack and Animal Health Sales Associate at North 40, your main priority is to connect with our customers and be a genuine resource on all products relating to animal care. You play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, accurate product information, and solution recommendations for our customer’s needs. To support maintaining an impressive environment for our customers, you will help with stocking and merchandising products and safeguarding company assets. You are committed to doing a job well – and you demonstrate that by your willingness to learn, your reliability, your enthusiasm to share your knowledge and skills, and your genuine interest in and support of your teammates.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A TACK AND ANIMAL HEALTH SALES ASSOCIATE
This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
