Job Description:

Openings in two departments Block and Bag plants:

Block Plant:

• Blocks of concrete come down the line once it comes out of the kiln, will QA to make sure it looks right (no chips or cracks etc.)-40-90lbs

• After QI they will palletize and wrap in plastic.

• Will perform lockout and tag out under supervision of an internal employee

• Will also be cleaning under the belts and machines and sweeping gravel

• Very repetitive and monotonous, just standing on a line checking concrete blocks as they come by

Bag Plant:

• Product will be dropped into a bag, then tied and stacked on a pallet. Lot of sweeping and cleaning up gravel as well.

• Basically lifting 50-70lb bags of concrete mix & tube sand from the line and then dropping them 3ft down onto a pallet.

• No forklift or machine operation while on contract but after converting they'll be trained on the machines and will be allowed a much larger range of job duties.
