Aston Carter Production Coordinator (Spokane, WA) in Spokane Valley, Washington

Description:

Aston Carter is partnering with a local construction company to find a skilled and organized product coordinator to support their field team. This individual would be responsible for, but not limited to the following: • Develop daily and weekly install schedules in accordance with employee capacity, geographical efficiency, product availability and customer needs. • Monitor vendor production and delivery schedules to ensure on-time installation. • Schedule punch list and warranty calls as efficiently as possible taking into account capacity and geographical constraints. • Perform onsite job checks as needed/required. • Work with contractors/project owners to acquire pictures of the job site when an onsite job check is problematic due to location or tight time frames. • Utilize contractors’ online portals (i.e. Procore) to keep abreast of their build timeline and revise our schedule as needed. • Generate daily and/or weekly production reports for management for critical decision-making purposes. • Review and verify booking data (i.e. job checks, pictures, approvals, door sizes, etc.) and update as needed. Make sure scope of work changes initiate the change order process and are noted for billing. • Work with the commercial administrative assistant on monthly billing. • Efficiently assign installations to minimize company costs and meet delivery deadlines. Work with other departments or subcontractors as needed. • Review job closeout form and pictures of each job to ensure a quality installation and to address any product quality and warranty issues. • Work with the warehouse and purchasing to keep stock levels adequate to avoid future shortages which could affect the schedule. • Resolve manpower and material shortage problems quickly in an order of priority; report issues to management immediately. • Assist production and project managers as needed/requested. • Develop a recovery plan as scheduling conflicts/issues arise. • Assist in the weekly offload of commercial products. • Work with management to develop, execute and implement process improvements to improve production performance. • Assist with special projects and/or additional duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Possess high school diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred and/or 1-2 years combination of training, education or experience preferably in the construction/trades industry. • Previous scheduling/capacity planning experience preferably in the construction/trades industry. • Experience working with blueprints (i.e. reading/comprehending) and the ability to visualize dimensions and job site conditions to anticipate and avoid issues. • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining composed, professional and organized. Highly motivated and results oriented. • Be able to handle many complex duties at the same time demonstrating leadership and organizational skills, while working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. • Ability to use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing priorities. • Strong initiative with an ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions. • Computer literate with demonstrated skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite of products. Mac experience preferred. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Relationship builder with a positive attitude. • Must be energetic, a team player, and willing to help others when needed.
