Location: Spokane Valley, WA (onsite) Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Pre-Billing Specialist to be responsible for providing efficient and accurate data entry of medical records and billing information and a accurate processing of the daily mail receipts (deposit function), Will maintain knowledge of all insurance classes and perform data entry of insurance at an average of 50 cases per hour with less than a 5% error rate. You Will: Perform data entry of insurance at an average of 50 cases/hour with less than 5% error rate Perform document imaging Correlate hospital paperwork in a timely and efficient manner Ability to utilize Power Path Ability to utilize insurance websites in order to find needed information Perform calls to physician offices in order to gain and/or verify patient demographics and insurance information Complete mail returns Complete Televox commenting Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum one year experience in a medical office or insurance billing Intermediate capabilities in Excel Fast and accurate keyboarding and 10-key by touch Proficient with MS Office programs Ability to use standard office equipment Professional and courteous phone skills Knowledge of medical terminology Previous customer service experience Experience with Meditech software preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
