Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.Job PurposeDevelop and execute plans to meet operational goals and objectives for functional areas, including assembly, continuous improvement, quality control, and process improvement. Ensure production activities are carried out efficiently and effectively and that results are on-schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily activity of the assembly, NPI, test, packaging, and shipping areas and assign tasks and workloads to accomplish the department objectives.Supervise and coordinate the preparation of materials for production work orders, vendor-managed goods, and internal requests for materials from all local warehouse locations.Effectively lead and develop the Manufacturing organization through the necessary changes to establish a culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement. Including leadership through regular Kaizen events, A3 problem solving, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and other Lean initiatives.Participate in the formulation of long- and short-range operational plans and goals. Develop and execute tactical plans to achieve defined goals & KPI's in functional areas.Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production and capacity plans, production processes, standards, measurements, goals, and procedures to facilitate efficient manufacturing operations, regulatory compliance, and high degree of customer satisfaction.Ensure the availability of all necessary equipment, drawings, manuals, and materials for accomplishing department objectives Work with Quality to effectively operate in an ISO registered environmentEstablish, implement, and hold personnel accountable for metrics and benchmarks for productivity, safety, delivery, and quality across all functions and for all deliverables.Continuously evaluate production schedules and activities, financial information, and other data to ensure manufacturing exceeds quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals..Maintain strong cross-functional working relationships with other department personnel to coordinate activities in support of company goals and the effective establishment of a Lean and Continuous Improvement culture.Establish and monitor operating budgets for functional areas, including staff utilization, technology, tools, facility and equipment requirements or improvements.Regularly present KPI results, improvement plans
