Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pyrotek Spokane Valley wants Maintenance Technicians! The ideal candidate will have anywhere from 1 year of experience in repair and maintenance (or tech school/associate degree in related field) to 6 years of experience with 4 years of experience in a maintenance/manufacturing specific field. Responsible for equipment installation and repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, advanced troubleshooting while applying root cause principles and other tasks necessary to address issues which arise and to provide support for plant operations. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance Level I Clean & apply lubricants to equipment components Replenish fluids for equipment Routine maintenance on forklifts and company vehicle. Maintenance Level II All Level I functions Inspect equipment & run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues Troubleshoot & repair industrial production equipment along with root cause analysis Perform thorough preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment Provide effective assistance with equipment installations. Welding experience preferred Maintenance Level III All Level I & II Assist Operations Manager in inventory management of critical spare parts. Engage effectively and efficiently with vendors for parts quotes. Assist, support and train other maintenance technicians on complex maintenance issues. Act as a point of contact for maintenance team members to identify constraints and facilitate communication between production and engineering to quickly react and respond to machine issues or other factors impacting production. Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDor equivalent combination of education and experience. Maintenance I -plus 1 year experience in repair and maintenance or tech school/associate degree in related field in lieu of experience. Maintenance II -plus three (3) years of experience in repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Tech and associate degree is a plus.Valid driver's license/reliable transportation preferred.Welding experience is a plus. Maintenance III -plus six (6) years of experience in repair and maintenance field or technical/associates degree and four (4) years of experience in a maintenance related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Valid driver's license/reliable transportation preferred.Welding experience is a plus. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Core People Skills. Ability to positively interact and work collaboratively with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization. Machine/Equipment Skills. Ability to read and comprehend facility and equipment drawings as well as the ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals. Knowledge of industrial production equipment. Electrical system knowledge preferred. Knowledge and use of various hand tools, multimeter, and precision tools.
