Incyte Diagnostics Floater Phlebotomist (SP/CDA) in Spokane Valley, Washington

Floater Phlebotomist you will perform a variety of procedures, including venipuncture, dermal punctures. POCT is used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases from patients of all ages. Is also responsible for collecting and processing laboratory specimens in an accurate and timely manner, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. The Floater will travel/work at various PSC/IOP locations within the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene region.- mileage reimbursement eligibility. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm You will: Specimen collection, handling, and processing Assist in maintaining laboratory areas, equipment, and supplies Participate in committees and task forces Easily adapt to new and changing roles, responsibilities, demands, and technologies Keep current on regulatory requirements Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Certifications High school diploma or equivalent Current MA-P (from WA state Dept of Health or another certifiable agency) or CMA certification (For Washington PSC's only) Completion of accredited Phlebotomy training program and clinical rotation preferred Skills and Abilities Previous phlebotomy experience, with laboratory processing familiarity) preferred Knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred Must be willing to drive to different locations in the Spokane region and in Northern ID region (SP/CDA metropolitan Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly peers, team members, supervisors, managers, and other departments Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Self-directed, open to new learning experiences, and demonstrate teamwork, and exceptional customer service Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and efficiency Ability to work five shifts/week, including some weekends Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Incyte Diagnostics is an EOE, including disability/veterans: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
