Aston Carter Bookkeeper in Spokane Valley, Washington

Position: Bookkeeper

Compliance: Willing to submit to a background check and drug screening

Hourly Range: $25/Hr-$30/hr DOE

Work Environment: Full-time Monday – Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Placement Type: 6-Month Contract-to-hire

Location: Fully Onsite Spokane Valley, Washington, 99202, United States

Description:

Aston Carter is partnering with a local construction company to find a skilled Bookkeeper to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks expert with a self-starter mentality who is excited to learn and grow at a fast-growing company.

Job Duties:

• Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable

• Assist with the transition to ADP Software

• Produce financials as needed

• Facilitate Payroll

• Tax Preparation (Pull information for CPA)

• File Dept. of Revenue taxes

• Receipt Auditing (High volume)

• Complete journal entries

• Manage truck fleet information (20-25 vehicles)

• Assist w/ misc. Accounting tasks as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-7+ Years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (Preferred)

• Expert in QuickBooks

• Degree in Accounting or related field (Preferred)

• Understanding of state tax law (OR/WA/ID)
