We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist in Spokane Valley, Washington, to join our team. This role involves a heavy focus on Accounts Receivable and Data Entry, and requires excellent customer service skills. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, with a focus on maintaining accurate customer credit records and resolving credit inquiries in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up new customer accounts in the accounting system

• Apply payments to customer accounts promptly and accurately

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering and routing phone calls

• Proactively work in a high volume, fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multi-task effectively

• Perform heavy data entry tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions and interactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update records, demonstrating proficiency in the tool.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field

• Demonstrated ability in data entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong customer service skills
