About the Role We are looking for a Senior Consultant with expertise in environmental permitting to support our growing practice in the Greater Washington region. We offer the opportunity to work on impactful projects, including complex transportation, infrastructure, site development, and industrial projects for federal, state, and local agencies. Join our team of fun, collaborative, and dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering permitting solutions. You Will: Lead environmental permitting efforts for complex projects, including Clean Water Act compliance, Hydraulic Project Approvals, and shoreline critical area reviews. Manage and deliver multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with planners, scientists, and engineers. Conduct SEPA/NEPA analyses, endangered species assessments, and wetland and stream determinations and mitigation. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, leading and contributing to business development and marketing efforts. Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. You Have: Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological sciences, planning, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 10+ years of permitting experience in Western Washington, with expertise in Clean Water Act, Hydraulic Project Approvals, and environmental documentation. Strong project management, business development, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Experience with permitting in other Western states is a plus. Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $140,000-$170,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually.
