Robert Half General Ledger Manager in Snoqualmie, Washington
Description
We are offering an opportunity for a General Ledger Manager in Snoqualmie, Washington. The individual will play a pivotal role in our accounting department, focusing on tasks related to financial statements, auditing, budgeting, and process improvement. This role would be an asset to our team, bringing leadership skills and a keen understanding of accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning.
Responsibilities:
• Review and adjust monthly and annual entries to ensure compliance with the closing calendar.
• Support the Chief Financial Officer in coordinating the annual budget.
• Prepare, review, and upload documentation for the annual audit, and liaise with the audit team for information and sampling requests.
• Supervise junior-level accounting staff and assist in their professional development.
• Implement processes and procedures to simplify existing accounting processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and narratives, and assist with necessary regulatory reporting.
• Develop supplemental managerial reporting on a recurring or ad-hoc basis, such as financial statement analysis, KPI or scorecard reporting, and decision support.
• Carry out research and prepare opinions on accounting or financial issues that could impact the organization.
• Perform budget and forecast variance analysis and budgetary reporting.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
