ZETEC INC Director of Human Resources in SNOQUALMIE, Washington

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Zetec is searching for a HR Director that will provide strategic and tactical support to shape, develop and implement HR initiatives and company-wide HR programs across multiple locations, globally. The HR Director balances between executing strategic HR initiatives and providing hands-on support in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, succession planning, compensation, employee relations, safety and emergency response, and more. The HR Director ensures compliance with all local employment statutes and regulations in each location that we operate and employ resources. Principal Responsibilities:* Lead and manage a team of 3 HR professionals in support of our global workforce (250 employees) through all functional areas of Human Resources.* Serve as trusted HR advisor; developing and engaging in strong relationships to effectively evaluate the overall pulse of the business at all levels.* Assess organizational needs and proactively define HR priorities and drive comprehensive solutions that align with the evolving needs of the business.* Assist with recruitment, performance management, and employee relations responsibilities for US and International roles and personnel. Partner with HR team and business leaders to develop and implement strategies to attract, engage, and retain a passionate, highly-skilled workforce utilizing various social media platforms and technology.* Ensure effective change management and communication principles to build strong two-way communication within the organization.* Drive strategies to develop leadership and management bench-strength and succession readiness.* Solve complex leadership, people and organizational challenges with full autonomy.* Interface and correspond with Roper Technologies (parent company) and its subsidiaries; proactively responding to routine requests and audits and providing relevant updates to the HR team and business leaders.* Oversee company-wide legal compliance of all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.* Oversee accurate administration of Zetec's HRIS and ensure personnel files and documentation comply with applicable laws.* Oversee Safety and Emergency Response programs.* Light travel to Quebec, Canada (approx. 5%).Qualifications:Experience* 12+ years of progressive and varied experience spanning the spectrum of HR management.* 3+ years of experience in a HR leadership role. Ability to engage and develop high performing HR team.* Previous experience in high-tech manufacturing environment (preferred).* Lean hands-on experience (strongly desired).* Familiarity with employment law and exposure to Global HR in North America, Asia, and Europe (notably Quebec, Korea, China, Japan, UAE, France, UK) (preferred).Education/Certifications* Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or related field.* MA or MBA degree preferred.* SPHR, GPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.Knowledge and Skills* Deep understanding of employment laws across multiple states/locations, employee relations, compliance, org. structures, performance management, talent management and workforce planning, employee attraction, engagement, and retention, HR metrics and analytics, policy development and HR strategy.* Critical reasoning and demonstrated ability to think in an enterprise-wide global mindset; proven ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment.* Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships at all levels to gain support and achieve goals.* Strong business acumen with a keen understanding of how the business a
