Job Description PSE's Communications Initiatives team is looking for a communications and public engagement professional to join our dynamic team! The Communications Initiatives Program Manager will be responsible for the effective management and implementation of the communications and public outreach strategy for some of PSE's most complex infrastructure projects. This position is integral in telling our story about how PSE's infrastructure projects fir into our clean energy goals and how they provide reliable energy service for our customers and communities. This position is hybrid with 50% of time expected to be in office or in the field. The individual in this role will be responsible for upholding the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement communications components and/or public outreach of strategic company projects, initiatives, and issues, providing support to other initiative teams as needed. Identifies opportunities in the development, coordination, and implementation of the project plan. This includes the communications, public affairs, and technical components of the project or initiatives providing support to other projects/initiatives team members as needed. This individual must understand the overall goal and strategy of the plan, as well as how the tactics interconnect. Produces communications collateral and implements communications tools. Identifies opportunities to evolve PSE's communication strategies and approaches, including technology, engagement strategies, and processes. Acts as a customer service advocate. Raises issues on the customers' behalf and works with the Project Managers to address customer concerns. Assists in managing and answering customer questions in coordination with outreach and customer care team members. Engages directly with customers, answers questions, and acts as a liaison between the customer and project teams. Coordinates with internal groups to ensure information is being shared with customer-facing employees and cohesive public outreach strategies and plans are developed. Performs emergency and storm duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, media, business innovation, marketing, strategic leadership/management or related field, and 5 years relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
