The Business Transformation Leader is a key business partner to the leadership team at Spacelabs Healthcare, and reports directly to the President. As a change leader, you will use your project management/ people skills to drive efficiencies and improvements throughout the organization. Alignment with business priorities, cross-functional collaboration and communication are critical success factors!
This is an individual contributor role
Develop the Business Transformation strategy and framework.
Evaluate the key elements and activities plan.
Define the portfolio management process.
Develop and lead a business transformation program.
Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes and technology to achieve measurable results in efficiency.
Contribute to business strategy and link strategy to execution plans.
Lead cross-functional teams to create future state roadmaps for core Value Streams including Manufacturing and Sales.
Innovate efficient processes that create customer value.
Establish uniform policies and procedures.
Enhance the organizational effectiveness to achieve business results.
Champion business and operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma principles and projects.
Assess current processes and workflows to identify process improvement opportunities, utilizing organizational, analytical and Lean Six Sigma problem solving methodologies.
Identify, manage and execute projects which will deliver operational improvement and business results.
Promote a culture of data driven problem solving and achievement of sustainable performance through training, coaching, and mentoring of LSS methodologies and tools (such as Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Drive Lean manufacturing principles, including visual management/workplace organization and data focused decision making.
Implement methodologies, standards, documentation, and processes that ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Act as a change agent to grow a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and ownership.
Create and manage meaningful metrics to uncover areas for improvement, to measure and communicate project priorities, and to track impact of process changes.

It is the responsibility of every Spacelabs Healthcare employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; 4 years of applicable experience may substitute for education.
3-4 years of lean deployment, process development & process improvement experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience working in medical device or highly regulated industry highly desired.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, problem solving techniques, DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS, and DFMA. Advanced analytical skills.
Good working knowledge of ERP systems.
Able to solicit the cooperation of a diverse group of disciplines and functions in a tactful and persuasive manner.
Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities within demanding timeframes. Strong project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs; 15%.
