As Paint Department Production Line Manager on our growing team, you are contributing to the success of the company by The Line Manager will oversee front-line employees to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations. Supervisory Responsibilities:

- - Lead and provide management support for the employees in the department you are responsible for.

``` - - Organizes, directs, and oversees the schedules and work of front-line employees.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- - Lead, direct, and provide management support to and for the employees in the department.

``` - - Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments.

``` - - Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data.

```{=html}

``` - - Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects.

```{=html}

``` - - Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.

``` - - Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.

``` - - Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

``` - - Provides guidance to employees on proper work methods when necessary.

``` - - Maintain a safe and positive working environment for employees. - - Area safety - reporting Injury/near miss to Plant and Human Resources Managers

``` - - Provides cross training where necessary and ensures team members are trained and cross trained.

``` - - Verify, initiate corrections to, and sign off on employee time sheets.

``` - - Initiates quarterly reviews for employees and collaborates with the Plant Manager during the review process.

``` - - Take steps to learn and be proficient in how to complete any and all jobs that come into the department to be able to assist employees when necessary.

``` - - Performs work in the department which contributes to the final product.

``` - - Reports on delivery KPIs / Gemba Board / QC

``` - - Communicates schedule changes with employees as discussed with the Plant Manager.

``` - - Reports employee issues to the Plant Manager and escalates them to Human Resources when necessary.

``` - - Performs other duties as assigned.
