[As Teen Program Staff, you will be responsible for providing supervision, leadership, and motivation for youth in teen programs while instructing class participants in various programs, games, and activities.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

[Key Responsibilities]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}[: ]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

• [Monitor facility and ensure a safe, positive and fun environment. Confidently and tactfully, enforce YMCA policies.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Organize activities as needed. Assist other staff as necessary.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Provide instruction for correct and proper use of activity equipment when needed. Teach and demonstrate in a positive manner.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Possess the knowledge and skills needed to instruct in program activities.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Assist participants with questions, comments or concerns about teen programs.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Create, develop and facilitate Teen Leadership clubs.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Develop and promote teen leadership and volunteer opportunities within the branch and community.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

[Qualifications:]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

[High school graduate or equivalent.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

[Positive attitude and previous experience with youth ages 13 to 19 (preferred).]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

[Knowledge and skills in program activities and related equipment, and the ability to instruct participants in techniques.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

[CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (preferred).]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
