Starting Wage: $14.49+ per hour, depending on qualificationsHours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per weekIgnite your Passion, Live the Y CauseWould you like to share your passion for aquatics with others? Would you like to teach others how to swim? As a swim instructor, you will provide direct leadership, prepared instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes. You will instruct beginning to advanced swim and safety skills depending on your abilities, according to age group and class swim levels, following the YMCA curriculum. If hired for this position you will prepare class lesson plans with a natural progression of appropriate skills for the abilities and ages of the classes, member usage charts, and safety inspections. You will also communicate with parents and keep accurate records of lesson attendance. At the Y, you have the opportunity to change the lives of those in your community.
