Your Impact:

Pay Rate: $35.12/hr (Union position)

The Logistics/Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient operations of the warehouse and logistics inventory systems and processes. The incumbent will employ cutting edge industry strategies, analysis and methods to effectively manage a warehouse comprised of industrial parts, supplies and materiel valued between $500,000 to $950,000 and a crew of between 7 and 15 hourly employees. This position is classified as a working Lead.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

§ Coordinates customer support services including the operations of prescribed supply issue points and stockroom functions.

§ Competently and effectively uses Maximo to record and manage inventory.

§ Analyze inventory levels and adjust to follow JIT practices whenever possible.

§ Use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Power Point to status progress.

§ Coordinates disposal of excesses, replenishment of stock levels within established control levels and processing of turn‑ins.

§ Oversees supply support functions including staging, delivering, requisitioning and expediting service.

§ Monitors internal controls to ensure integrity of item records and supporting documentation for inventory/stock control.

§ Receipt and tracking of government and contractor‑owned property. Oversees and monitors supporting files to ensure property control and accountability.

§ Plans, directs, and coordinates Material Management operations to include oversight of purchases of materials, supplies and services on approved requisitions.

§ Monitor shelf life on materials to ensure it is used or sold, not scrapped because of age.

§ Complies with company-wide Safety program to maintain an accident-free environment.

§ Reviews, directs, oversees departmental operations and recommends improvements/changes to management.

§ Forecast resource requirements and submits budget recommendations to management.

§ Prepares reports on inventory analysis and effectiveness metrics and tracking strategies for management review.

§ Promotes quality and customer service both internally and externally to Jacobs.

§ Develops and implements Supply Chain Management strategies to include demand planning, forecasting, materials requisition, and receiving. Coordinates materials supply with materials demand.

§ Able to introduce and maintain Bar Coding processes to Jacobs Supply operations.

§ Maintain optimal stocking levels and location of materials in support of Jacobs operations, including an aggressive program to reduce overall stock levels to achieve optimal stock levels as coordinated with Management.

§ Ensure availability of products through inventory management including planning, stock positioning and monitoring product age/life.

§ Establish, implement and report metrics to measure success and effectiveness of the inventory management system. Able to report current and up to date metrics on a daily basis, as required.

§ Provides effective and pro-active leadership to a crew of between 7 and 15 personnel.

§ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Mandatory

• Five years progressively responsible supply experience with minimum three years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Additional experience may be substituted for education on the basis of one year experience for one year education.

Fuel management computer proficiency a plus.

• Experience working within a regional or national supply logistics network.

• Familiar with Activity Based Costing that accumulates cost associated with field requirements.

• Proficient in cycle counting on a perpetual basis.

• Must possess valid WA state driver’s license and meet and maintain company security requirements.

Proficient in Windows based programs including Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience with Maximo highly desired.

• Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.

• U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred

• Two years college level courses in business or related field preferred.
