The Water Quality Program *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Water Quality Improvement and TMDL Lead (Environmental Specialist 4) position. 

 

This position is located in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) *in *Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

*Please Note: *The salary posted above includes the additional 5% premium pay that this position will receive due to its location in Shoreline, WA{target="_blank" rel="noopener"} in King County.     

As a Water Quality Improvement and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Lead, you will prioritize and develop water quality improvement plans such as TMDLs and Advanced Restoration Plans for the Skagit, Island, and Kitsap Counties. You will work towards protecting and improving the quality of surface water for the benefit of fish, people, and the environment! You will also take available information, such as water quality data, reports, and previous studies, and prioritize the development of the new water quality improvement plans and the studies needed in the service areas.
