The Water Quality Program *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Surface Water Cleanup Unit Supervisor (WMS Band 1)* position. This position is located in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) *in *Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

*Please Note: *The salary posted above includes the additional 5% premium pay that this position will receive due to its location in Shoreline, WA{target="_blank" rel="noopener"} in King County.     

In this role, you will supervise ten employees who are responsible for two significant elements of the Northwest Region's water quality work: developing water cleanup plans, including but not limited to Total Maximum Daily Load projects, and providing project management for nonpoint and stormwater projects funded with water quality grants or loans. As a motivated manager, you will make personnel decisions, manage and coach professional-level staff, and plan work for the unit to meet state and federal requirements.
