Optum RN in Shoreline, Washington

The Allergy department is seeking a RN to join their team full time in Shoreline

Schedule is Monday 745-715 in Shoreline, Tuesday off, Wednesday 745-530 in Shoreline. Thursday 745-616 in Everett and Friday 745-530 in Shoreline

The RN functions as an integral member of the team and is responsible for coordinating direct and indirect patient care activities, providing necessary support to the physician and other department staff within established guidelines. Provides quality patient care by assuring a smooth work and patient flow within the department. Acts as liaison between patient/physician and other departments. May work on an on-call basis to cover for absences on the weekend.

The RN is responsible for and not limited to:

  • Assesses and evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care problems & complaint

  • Identifies & recommends solutions to departmental problems

  • Assists in assessing departmental function and productivity & recommends changes as necessary

  • Assesses patient/family learning needs and coordinates and carries out teaching plan

  • Responsible for patient case management. Coordinates nursing and patient care activities within the department and with other clinical departments in order to provide efficient comprehensive, & cost effective patient care.

  • This includes working with reception staff to ensure appropriate patient bookings and appointment triage.

Preferred Experience and Credentials:

Experience: One year current clinical experience preferred

Certificate/License: Current Washington State licensure required. Current BLS certification required.
