Join our logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, where you'll handle the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in every transaction. Your role involves overseeing the receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping of products, supplies, and equipment, while keeping inventory areas clean and organized. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Count, sort, or weigh incoming goods to verify receipt of items against the shipping notice.
• Record and check the quantity and quality of goods received to ensure they conform to purchase orders and specifications. Inspect materials for damage, leakage, or theft.
• Inspect, accept, or reject goods received, with the authority to make final decisions.
• Verify each item delivered against the receiving copy of the purchase order, noting discrepancies, and forward checked POs to A/P once all items have been received in good condition.
• Store items in assigned locations in or around the warehouse/property and deliver non-inventory items to individual casino departments.
• Communicate and coordinate with the appropriate buyer regarding returns, rejections, and credits. Properly input credits into the computer system and submit necessary documents to accounts payable.
• Compile data from contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports, and enter information into computers to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
• Maintain backorder files in an established sequence and release back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
• Fill supply work orders or requisitions by checking shelves, retrieving items, verifying stock with work order or requisition requests, and logging items out of warehouse inventory using the applicable computerized system.
• Prepare requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of restaurant experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check 
• Valid Washington State driver's license required.
• Current Washington State Food Worker Card required.
• Valid Forklift certification required.
