This is a Full-time position, Monday-Friday. Non-exempt, pay range is $30.47-$43.87, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus . The Dietitian will coordinate the nutrition services provided to individual patients (both inpatient and outpatient) and their families/caregivers as needed and will help coordinate the employee wellness program in collaboration with other departments to create a system of quality healthcare.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides nutrition assessment, identifies personalized nutrition interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations, and implements them as needed.

• Practices evidence-based, best practice, patient-centered nutrition care that is safe, effective, efficient, and timely.

• Communicates with the Culinary and Nutrition Services department to develop and implement nutritionally appropriate menus to accommodate the various needs of the inpatient population.

• Manages the employee wellness program, including employee nutrition education, wellness events, and other engagement opportunities.

• Utilizes evidence-based research to provide input on quality improvement plans and policy and procedure development related to nutrition therapy.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition

• Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

• Minimum of one year work experience in clinical nutrition with concentration in nutritional assessment and counseling preferred.

Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) required or eligible for registry.

• Dietitian Certification, Washington State Department of Health.

• Current Washington Food Handlers Permit.

• Certified Diabetes Educator, American Association of Diabetes Educators, preferred
