This is a Full-time position, Monday-Friday. Non-exempt, pay range is $30.47-$43.87, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus . The Dietitian will coordinate the nutrition services provided to individual patients (both inpatient and outpatient) and their families/caregivers as needed and will help coordinate the employee wellness program in collaboration with other departments to create a system of quality healthcare.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides nutrition assessment, identifies personalized nutrition interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations, and implements them as needed.
Practices evidence-based, best practice, patient-centered nutrition care that is safe, effective, efficient, and timely.
Communicates with the Culinary and Nutrition Services department to develop and implement nutritionally appropriate menus to accommodate the various needs of the inpatient population.
Manages the employee wellness program, including employee nutrition education, wellness events, and other engagement opportunities.
Utilizes evidence-based research to provide input on quality improvement plans and policy and procedure development related to nutrition therapy.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition
Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Minimum of one year work experience in clinical nutrition with concentration in nutritional assessment and counseling preferred.
Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Registered Dietitian (RD) required or eligible for registry.
Dietitian Certification, Washington State Department of Health.
Current Washington Food Handlers Permit.
Certified Diabetes Educator, American Association of Diabetes Educators, preferred
