SALARY- DOEThe Role Of The Lead Cabinet Fabricator Is To Work Under The Supervision Of Company President, Nathan Hughes and Alongside Other Carpenters To Produce High Quality Finishes For Our Diverse Client Base.Job Responsibilities:Construct and Assemble Cabinet Components, Making Sure That All Pieces Fit The Dimensions Specified By The Client; Install Appropriate Hardware; Match Material Grains; Reinforce Joints Etc.Verify and Double Check All Calculations To Ensure Proper Alignment Of Doors, Hinges, Side Panels Etc. Always Using Blueprints Or Design Plans For ReferenceSubmit Orders for Approval, Including: Hardwood, Ply Etc. and Shop Supplies (Screws, Glue, Shims Etc.)Maintain Tool Inventory and Maintenance / Checkout Logs; Clean and Repair All Equipment Necessary For Work, Including Handsaws, Table Saws, Skill Saws, and A Variety Of Drills and Sanding Tools. Notify Management Of Necessary Repairs.Maintain Shop Tool Safety Manual.Be Exact In Measurements and Markings So That Materials Will Be Used Efficiently and The Projects Will Meet Budgetary Restrictions.Arrange and Assign Cut Lists. Train New Employees on Trade Techniques and Machine Utilization and Safety.Verify and Meet Deadlines; Perform Work in a Timely but Durable Manner Which Maintains and Develops HHC’s High Reputation.Handle Materials and Tools Safely, Adhering To Strict Health and Safety Guidelines, and Ensure Good Housekeeping and Storage at All Times.Maintain a Safe Working Environment by Cleaning and Disposing Of Old Materials, Such As Nails And Screws And Maintain Cleanliness Of Facility Including Bathroom, Floors, Exterior and Trash / Recycling.Undertake Duties Which Are Consistent With The Function Of The Job.Requirements:Must Have Reliable TransportationMust Have Valid Divers LicenseEstablish and Maintain Effective Working Relationships With Fellow Employees.Safety Attire, Equipment and Practices Appropriate To The Position.*This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
