In this fast-paced environment, you'll craft exceptional cocktails and provide unforgettable service to our valued guests. This is a highly tipped position! Apply now! The Bartender provides continuous quality entertainment, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as food service to guests and Cocktail Servers from the service bars following standard recipes in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner. Clean and stock bar supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Greet customers and takes drink and food orders.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine and beer (bottled or draft).
  • Ring drink and food orders into register, collect payment, and make change.
  • Complete supply requisitions.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
  • Stock liquors, beer, wine, and other beverage supplies.
  • Ensure that beverage service stations are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests. Assesses guest demeanor and identifies when behavior should be called to the attention of Management.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

     

     

     

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.      
  • One (1) year previous experience as a Bartender and cash handling experience preferred.
  • Must meet State minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
  • Must know bar terminology and its application to service.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
  • Basic knowledge of all bar equipment and its functions including Point of Sale System.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
  • Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.  
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand
