TREE TOP INC Treasurer in Selah, Washington
Selah, WA, USA 130000-165000 per year Salary Full Time PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Treasurer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and policies to ensure Tree Top has adequate cash flow to fund operations. In addition, the Treasurer is responsible for oversight of a variety of financial risk management processes including insurance and credit risk management. The Treasurer is expected to establish and build a strong open relationship with the company\'s lenders and other financial partners, establish policies to facilitate sales while minimizing company risk, and execute the company\'s insurance risk management program. Additionally, the Treasurer participates in or leads certain aspects of financial planning, interest rate forecasting and risk assessment, L.T. debt planning, pension plan administration, and grower deposit and equity balances. This position also develops and monitors treasury specific strategic goals and objectives, and keeps senior management informed of significant developments in banking, capital markets, insurance and related areas of responsibilities. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and manages the Credit and Collections team, Accounts Payable team, and Office Services/Facilities team. The position works closely with Tree Top\'s senior management team members, financial partners, insurance brokers/companies, and credit management companies. QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY: KNOWLEDGE OF: Principles and practices of financial and manufacturing accounting. Principles and practices of financial forecasting and budgeting. Principles and practices of risk management, including property and casualty insurance and liabilities. Strong understanding and working knowledge of GAAP requirements. General knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations. ABILITY TO: Manage and coordinate a variety of projects and/or programs. Maintain confidential and sensitive information. Think strategically and drive organization-wide results. Gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion. Identify, research, and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and project consequences of proposed actions. Gather, evaluate, and interpret information, particularly as they relate to information on funding sources, market issues, and trends. Effectively organize, plan, and execute. Proficient use of technology including office and ERP software. Meet behaviors established in Tree Top\'s performance management and development process. EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING: A Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial accounting or treasury workflows, including progressively responsible experience managing a department. Knowledge and experience working with ERP database system is a plus. CMA or CPA certification is a plus.
