Woodburn, OR, USA \$1,500 sign-on bonus paid through 30 days, 90 days and 6 months of employment. General Labor \$750 Competitive benefits package available after 60 days of employment. SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all plant equipment and facilities. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyor systems, production machines, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Responsible for the ongoing maintains all equipment within the plant by maintaining refrigeration and hydraulic systems; plumbing, steam and pneumatic systems Takes initiative to identify and solve problems, work in a team approach with maintenance, production and other groups Maintains power transmission equipment, seals, bearings, gears and shafts Completes boiler repairs and maintenance as necessary Determines cause of problems and decides on corrective action, both temporary and long term fixes Interprets a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Maintains area of responsibility to meet GMP standards Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Lubricates and cleans parts Follows Lock Out Tag Out Procedures Dependable and Predictable Attendance CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current driver\'s license and a DMV report that meets the requirements of our insurance agency. Completion of a forklift safety training course PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to Talk, hear, taste, and smell. Frequently required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles.
