Description

We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be primarily involved in tasks such as analyzing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and handling ad hoc projects. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements to evaluate the financial status of the company

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial operations and data analysis

• Prepare accurate financial forecasts to aid in decision making

• Handle budgeting and forecasting tasks to optimize financial resources

• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions

• Undertake ad hoc projects to support the financial needs of the business

• Maintain accurate records for future reference and audits

• Collaborate with the team to meet financial objectives

• Address customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction

• Monitor customer accounts and take action when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated ability in budgeting and forecasting

• Experience analyzing variance

• Experience analyzing financial statements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a finance-related role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly

• Proficiency in financial software systems would be an advantage.
