POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.
The CNC Mill Technician performs a variety of duties and utilizes multiple skillsets. Technicians are required to follow detailed designs, instructions, and programming. 5 Axis Mill Operation, includes Tooling knowledge, Calibrated equipment, machine operation, part loading, clamping, and machine maintenance are some daily tasks.
The following essential job functions are performed as a Mill Technician:
- Attention to detail and quality is required
- Reads and understands blue prints, isometric drawings and work orders
- Receives and carries out directions from designated Supervisors and Production Leads
- Must be able to understand and comply with Safety Practices
- Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
- Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction
- Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities
- Performs prescribed maintenance on machines and facilities as required
- Knowledge of common hand tools
- Works in other Cells to support Production as required, ie; Mold Fab or Assembly Cells
- Performs on the job training, AS9100, Nadcap training and other training as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
- Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Wage range for this role is between $20 - $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
