Seattle Colleges Workforce Advisor in Seattle, Washington
Seattle Central College is looking to hire a Workforce Advisor (BFET) in the Workforce Services department.
*Salary Range for this position is $58,632 to $80,968 annually *(depending on experience).
Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin February 10th, 2025.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Workforce Services, the Workforce Advisor will be responsible for day to day management of the college¿s Basic Food Employment and Training (BFET) program. The BFET Advisor works closely with Seattle Central College Student Services (including the other Workforce Services funding programs) and Financial Aid staff to guide students through the process of accessing academic programs and financial aid; defining career goals and career planning and development. The status of this position is contingent upon continued grant funding.
This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday primarily 8:00am - 4:30pm.
This position works a hybrid schedule of both remote and on-site work, typically Monday-Thursday on-site, Friday remote.
*This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by AFT-SPS. *
