Software and Services

  • Screen incoming bugs (understand, reproduce and regress) related to video apps.

  • Experience with development/testing Windows apps

  • Experience with command line tools

  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills

  • Use network monitoring and debugging tools to do initial analysis of bug reports.

  • Understanding of the software development and testing process

  • Identify potential trends in incoming bugs and escalate to cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python is a plus

  • Familiarity with iOS, tvOS and macOS is a plus

Description

This position involves a combination of technical troubleshooting, clear communication and meticulous organization skills. You will work to understand incoming bugs, reduce them to actionable steps, and assign them to appropriate engineers. We need someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Excellent communication skills are a must, because of the high level of interaction with the engineering teams, management, other organizations within Apple. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and focused on achieving results.
