Job Summary This position is designed as an entry level position to provide basic processing support to the Wholesale lending activities of the Division. Under the direction of the Wholesale Manager and/or Wholesale Account Executive, this position's primary function is to receive and review loan packages received from a variety of approved mortgage brokers and to submit the loan files to the Loan Processing Center. Key functions include but are not limited to the following: Receive, review and input incoming loan packages Identify and collect necessary documentation from the Broker Establish and maintain good working relationship with Loan Processing Center Prepare loan file for submission to Loan Processing Center Assist Loan Processing Center with loan file requirements and client conditions Coordinate client, Broker and title company communication throughout loan transaction Communicate status of loan files and timeframes with Brokers Review all rate locks and loan disclosures, including Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosure, for accuracy prior sending to Brokers Manage rate lock expirations and closing timelines Answer questions regarding loan programs, policies and procedures Schedule client, realtor and Broker appointments as directed by Wholesale Manager or Account Executive Coordinate and schedule loan closings with title companies and Brokers Manage the Approved Broker List Maintain current licensing requirements for Brokers Perform Quarterly Broker audits Manage Branch Custom Construction assignments Assist with Broker meetings/Open Houses: invitations, reminders, set-up, catering, etc. Monitor and track Wholesale loan volume. Generate monthly activity report Provide clerical functions for the department including filing, distributing incoming mail, etc. Complete special projects as assigned. Qualifications Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, math and typing (45-50 wpm), 10-key; filing; detail-oriented; excellent organizational and communication skills; familiarity with loan documents preferred.
