Location:127 Public Square - Cleveland, Ohio 44114Job Description Vice Presidents will be responsible for all facets of syndication of credit facilities on major client relationships:Lead the drafting of pitch materials and syndication strategy;Prepare drafts of mandate letters, term sheets and assist in preparation of related legal documentationPrepare marketing materials - Rating Agency Presentations, Confidential Information Memorandum, Lender Presentation and supplementsLead investor diligence calls and response effortCoordinate closing process and required documentation.Essential Job Functions Responsible for assisting the Senior Syndicators in the origination and structuring of Syndicated Finance products and services to borrowersKeep abreast of emerging market trends, participate in daily market update callsDevelop and maintain strong internal partnerships Identify opportunities for Syndicated Finance within Key's client and prospect portfolioRepresent Syndication's perspective in credit approval meetings and prepare Distribution Risk Analysis memosPartner with RMs and PMs to structure loan originations for syndicated debt market; Assist with the preparation and negotiation of deal structuresOrchestrate internal resources to meet client needs and manage the process of executing syndicated transactionsFully engage Syndicated Finance partners in Sales & Syndicate, Ratings Advisory and other Debt Capital Markets partnersServe as the key leader for client quality and service; Act decisively to implement solutions and resolve crisis, and follows up to assure resolutionGain insight on successes and challenges through client and partner feedbackEngage internal partners in deal debriefs to discover opportunities to improveNetwork inside and outside of our company to broaden business knowledge base and to increase personal effectivenessInvolvement in industry related associations; Maintain an established network within the financial communityResponsible for regular maintenance reporting, information dissemination, and requisite lender callsProvide technical and developmental support to more junior individuals on the teamExecute strategy within corporate guidelines and policiesRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of6 years Debt / Capital Markets experienceSeries 7, 63 and 79 licensingUnderstanding of or experience across full credit spectrumStrong credit skills; analytical expertise; writing proficiency; strong client service/interpersonal skills; strong communication skills, computer competency; negotiation and persuasion capabilities; ability to work without extensive supervision.KeyCorp is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
