As Vice President of Product Portfolio Management you will be instrumental in bringing the entire product organization together, creating a consistent framework to manage Sonos\' global product portfolio and future investments. You will collaborate with the various Product Category leaders to assess the competitive landscape evaluating market, technology, and customer trends/dynamics. The VP, Product Portfolio Management will highlight investment opportunities in products, services, and experience through leveraging product expertise as well as data & insights to inform investment decisions. You and your organization will be responsible for the overall product roadmap process, program management across all product categories, product governance and operational excellence. This role will report to the Chief Product Officer. What You\'ll Do: Define and manage the global product portfolio process and develop roadmap priorities for the future, leveraging data & insights about both product/customers, competitive landscape and the industry to inform where and how we invest. Identify potential risks and challenges within the product portfolio and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Collaborate with Product Category Leaders, Finance, Data, Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure a seamless execution of the product portfolio strategy. Recommend Opex investment across the entire product team, based on product resource allocation, assessing portfolio tradeoffs based on strategic investments. Own the Governance process for all product categories and ensure it satisfies the evolving needs from the Product organization. Lead the continuous improvements process for the whole product organization to drive for operational excellence. Manage a globally distributed organization of Program and Portfolio managers as well as teams responsible for Operational Excellence. What You\'ll Need: You are a strategy and product executive with demonstrated leadership managing portfolio strategies for multi-category premium hardware + software products. Track record of bringing products to market and demonstrated leadership managing a full product portfolio, ideally of hardware and software products. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, you bring a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in consumer electronics and adjacent industries and have demonstrated experience leveraging market insights to create product portfolio strategies and drive investment decisions. Extensive experience managing and collaborating cross functionally to drive alignment and impact across an organization. Experience hiring, developing and managing high-performing, diverse, inclusive and globally distributed teams. Location: This role is hybrid, requiring some time in the office. The ideal candidate is willing to relocate (relocation package provided by Sonos) or based in commutable distance to one of our US office locations - Santa Barbara, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco or Louisville. We would consider someone not located in one of these geographies who has the ability to travel.
