Amazon Vendor Operations Specialist, WW Field Enablement in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are seeking a Vendor Operations Specialist to support our Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE) organization in managing vendor relationships and procurement processes. This role will assist in the operational management and oversight of third-party vendor contracts and engagements, helping to ensure compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key job responsibilities

• Assist in managing the centralized Purchase Order (PO) intake process

• Support vendor onboarding and contract management activities

• Help track and analyze vendor spend and performance metrics

• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for leadership

• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities

• Support RFP processes for new vendor selection

• Help maintain vendor documentation and records

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and Security

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1-2 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or related area

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (especially - Excel or similar tools) and procurement systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ContractCentral (Contracts Management tool), Cloudforge, and PayeeCentral

  • Experience in managing vendor MBRs and QBRs

  • Experience in running Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ)

  • Communication and Analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $131,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
