The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) inspires, acquires, and engages Microsoft customers and partners by driving Connected Sales & Marketing for maximized business and societal impact. CMO accelerates the region's growth agenda through integrated marketing, creating marketing signals that generate pipeline, accelerate deals for sales, and delight our customers and partners, creating MS brand love.

The US Solution Integrated Marketing Lead (IML) manages and leads a team of Integrated Marketing Managers (IMMs). Your team owns integrated marketing planning, execution, and optimization driving customer acquisition and nurture for the US market as prioritized by the Business Groups and Sales and delivering demand signals in the form of marketing insights, recommendations, and new contacts to our Sellers. As a strong advocate for connected sales and marketing, you lead the connection between senior leaders across our Sales, Marketing and Partner organizations as well as back into the Corporate Marketing teams. You drive your team to maximize local marketing investments by fully exploiting all global content and marketing services, and augmenting local work aligned to global strategies. You will have the opportunity to develop your people management skills, supported by world class professional training programs. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Integrated Marketing Planning - You drive the formulation and implementation of local marketing strategy and integrated marketing plans aligned to area business strategy and priorities to deliver marketing objectives (e.g., acquisition, nurture, re-engagement) in close alignment with global strategy and the global event framework. You lead partnerships with local functional leads including Business Groups, Sales, Communications, Finance, and Business Operations and external teams (e.g., agencies of record) to establish the appropriate marketing plan. You drive change management and communication across various stakeholders. You ensure plans reflect importance of connected customer journeys and data driven decision making.

  • Integrated Marketing Execution - You oversee the delivery of marketing plans recommending overall digital channel strategy by leveraging deep knowledge of global strategy and local-market dynamics. You influence local stakeholders to land the marketing plan. You integrate internal and external data to continually improve customer experiences buy focusing on the needs of the customer at every touchpoint (e.g., drive optimization of segments, spend, performance, improve digital channels). You guide your team through appropriate financial processes for responsible management of local-market spend. You incorporate inclusive marketing and accessibility principles, best practices, and tools in the execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Management - You leverage insights to inform long-term marketing and business-planning decision making. You ensure relevant inputs and data are incorporated by coaching team and others on marketing and investment strategies.

  • People Manager - You model, coach, care in your team’s career development. You ensure your team has a shared understanding of business objectives and the work accrues to these objectives. You lead your teams through change and resolution of complex issues or blockers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience OR equivalent experience.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience OR equivalent experience

  • 3+ years people management experience.

  • B2B Marketing in a Tech industry.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $148,000 and $222,000.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
