About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program :

Starbucks internships are paid, 10-12 week assignments (June – August 2025) at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle - our corporate headquarters. Note: Each student that successfully completes this internship may be considered for full-time career openings upon completion of a Bachelor’s degree program.

About Starbucks Payroll

Partners (employees) are the heartbeat of Starbucks. Our payroll organization ensures timely, accurate processing and remittance of payroll and taxes for our over 275,000 partners in the United States and Canada, through the lens of partner care; We support the organization through process improvements, meeting reporting requirements, ensuring compliance, maintaining operational health of payroll systems and mitigating financial risk to the company.

We offer valuable exposure to various parts of the business as well as senior leadership within the Partner Resources (HR) Organization. As an undergraduate intern, you will apply your communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to complete a project (or projects) within our Payroll Team.

  • Financial acumen and ability to synthesize data into insights

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
