They are responsible for conducting the initial interactive process with employees helping to demystify the experience by providing an overview of the accommodation process, roles and responsibilities and timelines. The goal of the Triage Specialist is to respond to a high volume of intake requests providing a frustration-free experience for employees with an assessment of their request and providing guidance to the employee on the next steps in the process. It is critical that a person in this role will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize in a fast-pace and ever-changing environment, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with the customer service focus that employees expect from Amazon. Strong candidates will have the ability to build strong relationships, influence others while working in a cross functional environment.Other responsibilities will include:* Assessing preliminary information to determine the existence of a qualifying disability* Creating and maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant case records* Ability to solve customer service issues* Passion for delivering a positive Customer experience* Troubleshoot issues and remove barriers causing frustrations before, during, or after the Accommodation process* Maintain confidentiality* Additional duties as assigned* A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience* Computer operating and case management skills* Intermediate experience working with Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
