General Dynamics Information Technology Training Specialist in Seattle, Washington

The Training Specialist provides training and technical assistance to a federally funded network of care providers. The Specialist prepares and/or conducts training programs and delivers training programs to train all levels of personnel, including case managers, clinicians, and other staff.

This position is remote and requires frequent travel within the United States.

Duties include:

  • Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and help develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

  • Contributes to completion of targeted training programs and projects

  • Provides training and technical assistance on-site and/or virtually

  • Support the development and design of training material

  • Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures applicable to the operations of the care provider network

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences or a related field with at least 2 years of experience

  • Experience providing training or technical assistance to different audiences

  • Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt delivery/training style as needed

  • Experience providing services or case management at a care provider

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be able to travel within the United States

  • This position requires a Background Check
