Training Coordinator Primary Location US-WA-Seattle ID 2024-2711 Category Administration Position Type Regular Full-Time Remote No Overview Geosyntec's Learning & Development (L&D) Team has an immediately available job opening for a Training Coordinator. The Training Administrator (TA) will be responsibility for a variety of administrative tasks to support Geosyntec's Learning & Development (L&D) Team, training programs and the Learning Management System (LMS). The position's primary focus is to provide dependable support for employee training, while maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating strong interpersonal and client service skills. The individual must have the ability to prioritize well in a team environment, supporting multiple functions and individuals with dynamic priorities. Work requires the exercise of considerable initiative, independent judgment, and discretion in planning, prioritizing tasks, and organizing a diversified workload. The work will be performed under the general direction of the LMS Administrator. The position can be based in Seattle, Washington or any Geosyntec location in the Western United States. At the Company's discretion, a hybrid or remote work option may be available. To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Provide general administrative support for the Learning & Development group and training initiatives, including, but not limited to course enrollment, attendance records, certificate support, production, and shipping of training materials, and LMS customer support; Maintain accurate attendance records in the LMS, including instructor led training, webinars, and conference participation; Assign training to new employees and assist them in uploading training records; Work with the LMS Administrator to schedule and coordinate company-wide training programs; Review and proofread modules, closed captions and transcripts for online courses developed by the L&D team. Demonstrate strong verbal and written skills, including grammar, spelling, and proofreading ability. Process and track approved invoices, check requests, and purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors; Handle and safeguard confidential information and sensitive material; Interact with employees to understand/clarify requests and resolve issues when required; Answer inquiries and resolve issues with students and instructors; Maintain client-required employee training and manage entry of completion information required on external systems. Coordinate with project teams to add new employees and assign initial and renewal training. Maintain client-required access and badging requirements; Provide general administrative support to Geosyntec course instructors to ensure successful delivery of training programs; and Back up to LMS Administrator.
