A Test Tools & Automation manager must have a good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset. May also require strong technical capabilities in a particular application or field of study.

Key responsibilities include the ability to lead and drive projects forward, strategic planning, forecasting budget and resources, demonstrating executive presence and leadership skills, and influencing/leading diverse groups to achieve desired results

Job Description:

Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) is a center of excellence that conducts independent testing throughout the year globally across the company, providing ongoing feedback to monitor (and improve) processes. EIT has established itself as the enterprise utility to test all end-to-end processes on behalf of Second Line of Defense, Frontline Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs), enabling more efficient and effective testing. EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed with digital transformation, implementing automation and leveraging cutting edge Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing technologies. EIT carries a portfolio of 8000+ tests and has a global footprint employing 2,300+ testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as 500+ Global Business Services (GBS) associates.

The Test Tools & Automation Manager is a member of the Test Tools & Automation team and will be a Product Owner for Trifacta Platform. Trifacta is a Leading Data Prep tool enabling Self-Service ETL capabilities for Business Users with reporting and analytics needs. This role will have an exciting opportunity to work with other Product Owners within the Test Tools & Automation team, under the direction of the Test Tools & Automation Executive and will be responsible for:

• Driving & managing the planning and execution of EIT’s automation platform initiatives

• Influence the technology roadmap, secure funding, define business requirements and be responsible for delivering requested features on time

• Ensuring consistent quality of activities, processes and outputs by establishing effective review practices across teams.

Job responsibilities include:

• As a Product Owner, drive discussions with Business Analysts, Product Managers and technology teams to gather and execute platform requirements.

• Partner with senior leaders to discuss and gain agreement on return of investments and impacts to organization tied to platform enhancements.

• Present to senior leaders in a variety of executive forums to provide updates on Automation Platform initiatives and proof of concepts.

• Maintain strong partnerships with all EIT leadership and key internal / external partners

• Strong partnership with other product and process owners across EIT and influence their roadmap

• Collaborate with Automation Platform team members, business and Technology stakeholders to identify current / future issues with the Automation Platform

• Facilitate the prioritization, refinement, planning for technology enhancements and Hot Fix implementation

• Coordinate and manage release planning activities

Qualifications and experiences:

-Minimum of 7 years work experience

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Systems knowledge or certifications varies based on job posting. May potentially require one or more of the following:

Data projects, SQL Databases, BigData, ETL, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics, Trifacta, Informatica, Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata / Software Development lifecycle (SDLC) – including waterfall, scrum, agile, Kanban / Software development exposure (Python, Java, Pega, Archer, Cloud, release processes)

• At least 5 years’ experience managing end to end System Development Life Cycle

• A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving innovation with a customer-first mindset

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science or other related area

• Project management experience

• Exceptional influence skills – demonstrated ability to create follower-ship, orchestrate and motivate teams, lead without formal (line) authority

• Adapts to changes in priorities with ease, comfortable working “in the gray” while defining the way forward.

• Ability to deliver complex information in a clear, concise way, ensuring the organization makes rapid and informed decisions.

• Talented facilitator who skillfully leads conflict and issue resolution

• Self-driven leader who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results

• Effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.

• Executive presence: ability to drive change and talk to all levels (CEO 2 Down)

• Prior experience with Agile and product owner/ lead roles and responsibilities

• Analytical mindset, interest in problem solving

• Proficient with Agile methodologies, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science or other related area

• Experience / knowledge of Enterprise Independent Testing function a plus
