Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Run test setups to cycle battery cells or packs, and operate hardware in the loop testbeds

• Perform calibration of test equipment

• Develop scripts to translate high-level test plan into a sequence of automated tests

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues observed in test setup during operation

• Electrical power system team and responsible for battery testing to the cell level (lithium ion testing). Do cycle testing to validate the cell and how they perform

• Use the data to build models

• Expecting someone who can come in and set up and automate the testing to be able to execute the test

• This role will work with someone that has experience working with 40 cells+ at the same time and testing to different cells the same time

• Able to understand the test plan and format and can execute the test and get the data from the equipment onto the test rack controlling the equipment

• Understand how to write scripts for this equipment and python programming skill set and someone that can work directly with the equipment and test and debug issues if the test stops

• Do HIL testing and experience working with power supplies and need someone that can automate and define the different set points are for power supplies and set loads.

• Open to someone that has general test automation experience but battery cell equipment would be preferred

• This person won’t handle the batteries themselves but nice to know the safety guard rails and will be defined as part of the test procedures

• They need to be able to write test scripts from scratch but do have some examples they can work off on for some of the testing 50/50 existing and writing from scratch
