Insight Global Technical Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

Plan, manage, and monitor medium to large projects with complex scope, multiple workstreams and interdependencies.

 Drive work to completion and effectively manage and report on scope, milestones, risks and issues, budget and timelines.

 Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives.

 Ensure all project tasks are clearly understood, assigned and tracked.

 Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders on communications, processes, and procedures.

 Support development and maintenance of relevant project documentation.

Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in IT, Project Management, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.

 At least 3+ years experience in a project management role in Big Data, data warehousing, data science, insight, intelligence and analytics solutions.

 Experience working in a project/product matrixed organization at a major retailer.

 Ability to successfully manage priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization.

 PMP certification considered an asset.

 Demonstrated ability to build constructive business and IT relationships and gain the trust of others in a cross-functional environment.

 Proven ability to meet deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency.

 Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, negotiation and presentation. Must be able to communicate technical and project management concepts in business-oriented terms.

 Experience working in an Agile environment is required. null
