Who You'll Work WithSlalom Build is looking for a talented, passionate, versatile Technical Content Writer to help craft compelling technology-focused content. You'll use your creative thinking and technical acumen to distill, organize, and convey complex and cutting-edge technical material into clear, effective, public-facing content like whitepapers, e-books, blog articles, and more.As someone who is passionate about technology, you'll be adept at taking in a wide variety of inputs, from subject matter expert interviews to outside research, to craft writing that conveys expertise and elevates our brand.What You'll Do* Research and write whitepapers, articles, e-books, and other content types of varying lengths for web publication* Interview subject matter experts to develop ideas, collect content, and ensure that our stories are told in a smart, compelling way* Synthesize complex business and technology concepts into clear and effective content that's accessible to a wide range of audiences* Collaborate with technologists, SMEs, and leaders on content projects-from conception to publication* Assist in reviewing and editing written materials produced by other team members* Uphold the Slalom Build brand voice and tone* Quickly develop expertise in multiple topics related to Slalom Build's services, technologies, and capabilitiesWhat You'll Bring* Experience as a professional writer in journalism, corporate marketing, or related technology organizations* Strong interview and research capabilities-journalism background a definite plus* An interest, comprehension, and passion for technology* Portfolio of excellent writing samples, including evidence of refinement of complex subject matter* The curiosity to learn unfamiliar subjects and the desire to take on new challenges* An understanding of the B2B digital marketing space* The self-organization required to be able to manage multiple projects and workstreams at once* Deep familiarity with the technology industry is required* Versatility, confidence, fun, optimismAbout UsSlalom Build is a highly-scalable, high-velocity Build as a Service firm.
