The Boston Consulting Group Talent Acquisition Specialist in Seattle, Washington

WHAT YOU'LL DO Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will support the complete life cycle of the Seattle office's consulting staff recruiting efforts. This includes event planning and execution, candidate pipeline development, marketing and branding related activities, planning and participating in the interview process, candidate communication and relationship building, and all conversion activities. You will work with the Seattle Recruiting Managing Director and Partner (RMDP), Seattle Recruiting Director (RD), Recruiting Directors at BCG core schools, and regional recruiting teams to lead and execute the annual recruiting pipeline across OneBCG, entry-level core business consulting (Associates and Consultants) from both campus and experienced hire pools for the Seattle office. You will also partner with the broader West Talent Acquisition Office Team and contribute to the larger West recruiting strategy, which include our BCG offices in the Bay Area, Denver, Los Angeles and San Diego. YOU'RE GOOD AT Cultivate relationships with candidates by following up with all inquiries and developing BCG's brand on campus Manage logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion, including conversion/welcome weekends and the summer intern program Assist with conversion activities for candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process Manage office recruiting cadre training, commitment, and performance tracking processes (select and train interviewers, staff NAMR events and interviews with the right mix of consulting staff, ensure commitments are upheld, manage swap process, etc.) Manage Seattle Associate and Consultant summer internship programs, including coordination and execution of orientation, training, case staffing, performance feedback, affiliation events, and conversion efforts Partner with office and broader West System leadership to ensure a smooth execution of recruiting strategy; build network and liaise with peers in other offices and regional recruiting to ensure alignment on all initiatives. Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and principles are incorporated throughout the steps in the hiring process, from pipeline development to conversion; recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline Manage Experienced Hire recruiting efforts in close coordination with the system Assist with annual budget planning and ensure budget allocations come in at or under plan Ensure recruiting records and metrics are up to date and accurate Use the database and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts, while monitoring the competitive environment YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Education and experience: Bachelor's degree required 2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization Flexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeks; Attendance at key evening and weekend events required Functional and soft skills: High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates Excellent time and project management skills.
