Job Description: The successful engineer in this should be comfortable with Oracle EBS to work in the areas mentioned below: FINANCE a) Provide solutions and technical advice, work directly with business users/ System Analysts / stakeholders / DBA. b) Work on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets functional areas c) Perform application system administration functions specific to application setup, configuration and maintenance. d) Oversee small projects and/or tasks / or technical object development and phases of larger projects. Responsible for coordinating activities of teams, schedules, and resources for assigned tasks or projects. e) Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architectural diagrams, and data models for cloud-based deployments. f) Provide technical expertise, and guidance, in the development and implementation of integration solutions. g) Develop reports in oracle BI publisher/Xml publisher like and register them as concurrent Programs as required h) Convert oracle Seeded reports in Reports to XML reports as needed or recommended. i) Design and develop various PLSQL programs and register them as concurrent programs to fetch the data and write to Comma Separated files (CSV) in the predefined Server location. Utilize UTLFILE Utility for writing data to the file in middle tier. j) Develop technical solutions with APIs, Advanced PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, Open Interfaces, UNIX and OAF. k) Work in EBS/applications INTEGRATIONS using SOA - Work with stakeholders (database administrators and functional team) to troubleshoot application, integration and database related issues l) Create Packages and Stored Procedures. m) Prepare the Unit Test Plans and involved in Testing. n) Prepare reconciliation scripts for post data migration. o) Prepare migrating and deployment documents (MD70, MD120). p) Create Concurrent Programs to call shell script. q) Customize report templates xml publisher reports. r) Analyze formal test results to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. s) Create Oracle Alert triggers. t) Work on performance tuning like Explain Plan to improve the performance of various custom PL/SQL Packages developed. u) Utilize FNDLOAD for data migration of various system administration objects, between various instances such as Menus, Custom Responsibilities and Programs, Value Sets and others. v) Prepare Functional Specification (MD050), Technical Design (MD070), setup and UTP Documents w) Post deployment support as required. x) Involve in Deployment Code Plan before cutover, validating all the Integration Endpoints, Recon Reports and also generating the reports through Excel Macros. y) Create test data in TEST Environment based on the scenarios given to test functionality & for defect management. z) Work with the reporting team to ensure that correct data is presented in the reports & get signoff from business.
