Our firm is currently looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to provide project management and technical expertise for the Energy and Sustainability Division. This individual will operate out of our Seattle office. This is an outstanding opportunity to bring your expertise to our team and make an immediate impact on the continued success of our firm. The Sustainability Manager position is a project manager level position supporting projects related to energy, sustainability, and climate across a range of sectors, including public agencies, cities, and corporate contracts, in the Seattle area and nationwide.RESPONSIBILITIES:The following list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management:•Work with clients, including agency owners, engineers, architects, and contractors, to provide project management support. Attend clients meetings, drive action items, manage schedule and budget, oversee project team.•Provide sustainability and environmental advice and program/project guidance.•Assess existing client sustainability and environmental programs and identify areas of opportunity and innovation.•Develop building, campus, and/or organization level sustainability and net zero carbon strategies or solutions.•Serve as a technical resource to clients and provide advice on program direction related to climate, energy, water, solid waste, or the utility industry.•Facilitate sustainability program workshops and planning sessions to advance projects and programs.•Facilitate program related communications, including working with graphic designers to develop outreach collateral. •Implement and manage sustainability projects and programs.•Facilitate client strategic planning efforts and provide subject-matter expert input.•Develop annual report documents, communication pieces, and other internal and external communications related to sustainability programs and projects.•Develop tools, databases, and other tracking mechanisms to support sustainability program implementation and assessment.•Aid with the collection, review, status, and organization of project documentation, data, and deliverables.•Advise senior management of the project status on a regular basis. •Manage project schedules and milestones. •Work independently and as part of a team to execute deliverables. •Coordinate with both internal teams and client liaisons regarding the delivery of tasks and action items. •Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative action.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Education:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
