The Climate Pledge Friendly (CPF) team is seeking a Sustainability Certification Manager to grow our collaboration with the world’s most credible and influential sustainability organizations. You will partner with sustainability certifications to accelerate progress in environmental impact areas, develop rich environmental expertise and work closely to collectively improve standards across multiple environmental impact areas. You will deepen relationships with senior executives at the world’s most trusted and influential sustainability organizations, and form joint business plans and long-term strategy that grow their catalogs of sustainable selection on Amazon. You will set aggressive goals, evangelize the program both internally and externally, and drive accountability across organizations. You operate strategically, ensuring that the world’s most credible products substantiated by trusted sustainability partners qualify for CPF, making us the world’s #1 trusted destination for customers to discover sustainable products.
Key job responsibilities
-You set the strategy for growing selection and increasing efficiency across certifiers focusing on multiple environmental impact areas, working through your team to achieve goals
-You dive deep in the details of certification requirements and processes, and become the single threaded expert on your certifications uncovering opportunities
-You establish ambitious goals and hold your partners accountable for delivering on share objectives
-You coordinate across cross-functional teams and categories, communicating with key stakeholders, all while meeting tight deadlines
-You develop a thorough understanding of your environmental impact areas, diving deep to uncover opportunities, and proactively educating key stakeholders across Amazon to scale your expertise
-You define the long-term objectives of your business, and inform the central product team’s roadmap based on your team’s insights
-You work across teams and external organizations to identify case studies, identifying best-in-class innovation and compelling ROI stories that further accelerate CPF’s flywheel across categories
-You maximize opportunities by helping partners onboard to automated processes, delivering a more hands-off-the-wheel experience for your partners.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
3+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
Experience in Product Certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
