Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician 1 .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 50% FTE

  • Saturday & Sunday; 6:00pm - 4:30am

  • Night Shift, Weekends Only DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine Supply Chain Management ensures our patient care experience is enhanced by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Make sure healthcare providers at the only Level 1 trauma center in WA State have access to vital medical supplies and equipment

  • Serve as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital

  • Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems

  • Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations REQUIREMENTS
